The reverse fixture in August produced a five-goal thriller at Craven Cottage, which went in favour of the Cottagers, thanks to first half efforts from Bobby Reid and Joao Palhinha, and Aleksandar Mitrovic’s 90th-minute winner. Brentford came from behind to share the spoils against the Eagles last time out, thanks to Vitaly Janelt’s 96th-minute header which canceled out Ebercehi Eze’s opener. Brentford’s second-choice goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha is sidelined with an ankle problem, while the rest of the squad is fit and ready to go. Toney, who has 15 league-goals to his name this season, will continue to lead the line, with Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa in support. As for Fulham, defender Tom Cairney is sidelined with an ankle injury. Mitrovic is expected to be the target-man up front, with Wilian and Bobby Decordova-Reid occupying the flanks.
