The French capital side has scored a staggering 14 goals already in just three matches this season. However, their first real test awaits them late on Sunday when they travel to Stade Pierre-Mauroy. Lille are one of the few teams expected to fight PSG for the league crown this season and what better way to make a statement than a win over their much-fancied opponent.

Paris Saint-Germain started the new season with a 4-0 victory over Nantes in the Trophee des Champions final. They followed it up with a 5-0 win over Clermont before beating Montpellier 5-2 last weekend. Their new manager could not have wished for a better start to his reign at PSG than the one he is currently enjoying right now. Meanwhile, Lille put their last season’s disappointment behind them as they head in a different direction under Paulo Fonseca in the new campaign. They won the opener 4-1 over newly-promoted Auxerre before dishing out a 1-1 draw away to Nantes.

PSG have a few absentees to deal with ahead of this clash, nonetheless, their superior squad depth will still allow Galtier to name a star-studded lineup for the upcoming clash. Their world-class front three of Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Lionel Messi are capable of ripping apart any side in the division. Sergio Ramos and Presnel Kimpembe could sit on either side of Marquinhos in the back three to guard the defence. However, Julian Draxler, Ander Herrera and Mauro Icardi are unlikely to be a part of the squad. Meanwhile, Tiago Djalo is suspended for Lille, while Timothy Weah is out injured.
