Huddersfield netted two times against Rotherham, courtesy of strikes from Duane Holmes and Jordan Rhodes. It was Mark Fotheringham’s side’s seventh league-win of the campaign. The Terriers’ have now collected 17 points from 13 games on home turf, which is a positive sign for the relegation battlers. Huddersfield have now also gone 13 games without conceding more than twice in a fixture.
Luton, on the other hand, have made a strong start to their life under new boss Rob Edwards, having recorded back-to-back wins against Norwich and Queens Park Rangers, The Hatters took all three points against QPR, courtesy of a brace from Carlton Morris and a late strike from Alfie Doughty. It was Luton’s ninth league-win of the season. Meanwhile, the Hatters also ended a four-game wait for a shutout.
Huddersfield boss Fotheringham is unlikely to make too many changes to the side that defeated Rotherham on Thursday. Rhodes will continue to lead the line, with Rudoni and Holmes in support. As for Luton, Edwards may take the same approach and stick to the same playing eleven. Morris and Cornick might form the attacking-duo, with Doughty and Bell occupying the flanks.
Huddersfield Town probable starting lineup: Nicholls, Lees, Helik, Doyle, Hayden, Hogg, Kasumu, Ruffles, Rudoni, Holmes, Rhodes
Luton Town probable starting lineup: Horvath, Bree, Lockyer, Potts, Doughty, Campbell, Clark, Mpanzu, Bell, Cornick
