Hull City will kick-start their pre-season against a top Turkish side in Fenerbahce. The Sunday night clash will see the English Championship side playing their first game this summer, while their opponents are well into their preparations having already played several friendlies. The superior quality and match sharpness must favour the Turkish giants, however, for Hull, the result will not be the main priority.

On the other hand, Hull City finished last Championship season in a lowly 19th position, having managed 51 points from 46 games. Hence, Hull would be eager to improve on that position this campaign and for that, they would need to prepare themselves in the best possible way during the pre-season.

In the ongoing transfer window, a good number of players have already joined Fenerbahce. Diego Rossi, Lincoln, Bruma and Emre Mor’s addition will only strengthen the squad as they aim to better their second-place finish last campaign. Some of these players could be in action on Sunday night.
As for Hull City, they have also had few incomings to their squad in the summer. Tobias Figueiredo and Nathan Baxter will add more quality to their side and they also signed Ozan Tufan from Fenerbahce. It is not clear how many of these players will start the match against the Turkish giants. But one thing is clear they will make a lot of changes to the squad in each half.
