Bournemouth will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to three games in the Premier League when they travel to Selhurst Park to take on Crystal Palace on Wednesday night. The visitors are heading into the match on the back of a 2-2 draw against Aston Villa at the weekend, while the Eagles played out a 1-1 draw away to West Ham United last time out. The hosts are currently occupying 13th spot in the English top flight standings having taken 16 points from 14 games, while the visitors are sitting three places behind them, separated by three points and six clear of the relegation zone.

Crystal Palace started the month of November with a 2-0 win away to Burnley thanks to Jeffrey Schlupp and Tyrick Mitchell. It was their fourth top flight victory of the season, but the Eagles then suffered back-to-back defeats over Everton and Luton Town either side of the international break, before sharing the spoils away to West Ham on Saturday. Roy Hodgson’s side came from behind to earn a point at London Stadium courtesy of Odsonne Edouard’s 53rd-minute effort which canceled out an early opener from Mohammed Kudus. Although Crystal Palace are sitting nine points away from the drop zone, Hodgson’s side have recorded just two wins from their last ten outings across all competitions, losing six matches in the period. Meanwhile, on a positive note, the Eagles did a double against Bournemouth last season, registering 2-0 wins both home and away.

Bournemouth, on the other hand, went into the international break on the back of an impressive 2-0 win over Newcastle United and then on their return to action, got the better of Sheffield United 3-1 at Bramall Lane. It was the Cherris’ first back-to-back wins this season and they have now recorded three league wins this term. Andoni Iraola’s side then welcomed in-form Aston Villa to Vitality Stadium on Sunday and were forced to share the spoils despite taking the lead twice through Antoine Semenyo’s 10th-minute opener and Dominic Solanke’s effort seven minutes into the second-half. Only Burnley (14) have dropped more points than Bournemouth (13) from winning positions so far this season, but ten points taken from their last five league games has helped the Cherries to move out of the relegation zone and take a six point lead over 18th-placed Everton.
