Sevilla will be looking to secure their first victory of the 2023-24 campaign when they travel to Alaves in La Liga on Monday evening. The visitors are heading into the match on the back of a defeat to Manchester City in the UEFA Super Cup final in Greece in mid-week, while the Blue and Whites suffered a narrow 1-0 loss away to Cadiz in their league-opener last weekend. Alaves spent six straight seasons in the La Liga before getting relegated at the end of the 2021-22 campaign, but they returned to the top flight at the first time of asking through the playoffs last season.
