The Indian audience stuck to their reputation giving Esport events huge numbers in watching. The first day’s stream og BGIS The Grind saw a whopping 2 million in viewership. The live watching saw a high of almost 100k.
BGIS The Grind saw best of the best invited teams take part in the practice event ahead of BGIS 2021, which will start from December 4. (Also Read: BGIS The Grind: Where to watch, invited teams, schedule, format, all you need to know)
The format of the game is extremely simple.
In-game trials will begin on December 4th and end on December 8th, 2021. From the in-game qualifiers, the top 1024 teams will advance to the next round. The online qualifications will be held in three rounds, with the top 64 teams progressing to the quarter-finals at the conclusion of the online qualifiers. These teams will next compete for a spot in the semifinals and then the Grand finals, where they will compete for a large prize pool.

The first major tournament– the BGMI India Series, would be available to everyone. Multiple online qualifying stages will follow the in-game qualifiers for the competition, which begins in December. To participate in the qualifiers, players must increase their ranks to the Platinum category or higher.

Coming back to the on-going event, the grind comprises of India’s most famous teams that will compete against each other to win a prize. As is the case with any tournament by Krafton, this event will also have a prize pool up for grabs. Top 3 teams, and one MVP will take home a cash prize.

The live action can be seen on Battlegrounds Mobile India’s YouTube Channel. Top teams from the country are going to be taking part in The Grind.
