Conte took charge of Spurs in November and five months into his job, the Italian tactician has done a fantastic job to help them reach where they are now. Spurs are on an impressive run of form having won nine of their last 10 league games, and that includes a 3-2 win over leaders Manchester City. The superb run of form has helped Spurs to move ahead of the likes of Manchester United, West Ham and Arsenal into the last Champions League spot.

Conte has surely managed to build a solid team which is lethal going forward while at the same time have been solid at the back. In the last four league games, Spurs have found the back of the net 14 times and conceded just twice. The front-three have been firing on cylinders, Son has scored six goals in the last four games while Kane and Kulusevski registered a combined total of eight assists.

January-signings Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur have quickly adapted to life in England and have made a huge impact since moving from Juventus. Kulusevski has already made nine Premier League starts, managing to find the back of the net three times and registered six assists in the league.

Meanwhile Bentancur is a vital cog in Conte’s plans as he plays a crucial role in the team’s quick transition from defence to attack. The Uruguayan forms the link between the defence and the attack, while his understanding with Kulusevski has been beneficial for the team.

Son has grown into a genuine goal-scorer

On the other hand, Kane, who had a poor start to the season, is slowly getting into rhythm and is now becoming more of an assist provider than a goal poacher. Kane has netted 12 goals and registered eight assists in 30 league appearances so far. The English striker often drops back, allowing the likes of Kulusevski and Son to exploit the space created by him.

Conte’s 3-4-3 system is proving to be getting the best out of Kulusevski and Son. Both of them have the freedom to make those central attacking run from their respective flanks. Son is becoming more of a genuine goal-scorer as the Korean international has already scored 17 goals this season, only behind Mohammad Salah, who has netted 20 times, in the race for the Golden Boot.

The new-look back three of Christian Romero, Ben Davies and Eric Dier is also delivering good performances. Romero’s return from injury has provided the much needed solidity to the back line while Dier, who can also play as a midfielder, has been excellent with his ball distribution.

Spurs currently look like the most in-form team in the league and if they can keep up the stunning form we are in for a thrilling final lap of the race for the top-four finish.
