The Blues were held to a 1-1 draw against Brighton at the Amex Stadium on Tuesday night, leaving them 12 points behind leader Manchester City. Hakim Ziyech had put the visitors ahead in the first half before Adam Webster equalised after the break to share the spoils. Meanwhile Tuchel’s side have already beaten Spurs twice this month, recording a 2-0 win in the first leg of the EFL Cup semi-final first leg at Stamford Bridge before winning the reverse fixture in North London 1-0 courtesy of Antonio Rudiger’s goal.

Conte’s side were losing 2-1 until the 95th minute of the match before substitute Steven Bergwijn scored two goals in the space of 80 seconds to secure a win from the jaws of defeat for the Spurs. Chelsea are boosted by the news that Trevor Chalobah and Reece James have both returned to training but won’t be available for selection this weekend.
