The Singapore Open is the 12th tournament on the 2023 BWF World Tour and the second Super 750 event of the season after the India Open. All the matches will be live-streamed in India.
Heading into the Day 3 of the Singapore Open will see the beginning of the Round of 16. The doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty bowed down to the Japanese pair of T. Saito & A. Koga. However, the second pair of men’s doubles of Arjun M.R. and Dhruv Kapila will fight it out against the English duo of S. Vendy & B. Lane. The sixth-seeded Carolina Marin continued her prowess on the court. She will now be facing Supanida Katethong from Thailand. One of the surprises of the tournament has been Priyanshu Rajawat. The Indian youngster will now face the world no. 3 Kodai Naraoka. For Indians, the performance of Kidambi Srikanth kept the bandwagon going. The former world no. 1 will now face Chou Tien-Chen from Taiwan.
