With a personal best throw of 82.87 meters, young athlete Kishore Kumar Jena from Odisha just won the silver medal in the javelin throw at the Inter-State Athletics Championships 2023. The 27-year-old is ranked 30th after this performance in the Road to Budapest World Championships standings.

Even I fell in love with the javelin after experiencing it at my first competition, and that was where my adventure began. After breaking the 70 million barrier for the first time in 2018, Kishore Kumar went three years without significant progress.
