The current Olympic Champion in the high jump (2020) is Mutaz Essa Barshim, a Qatari track and field athlete was born on 24 June 1991. With a personal best of 2.43, he is also the current World Champion and the second-highest jumper in history. My father used to occasionally take me with him to the club training, so I joined the club because of that. I was familiar with sports because of my father. He learnt English while attending an Arabic school in Doha.
