Jazmin Sawyers is a British track and field athlete who competes in the long jump. She has also participated as a heptathlete and bobsledder. Sawyers primarily concentrated on the high jump and long jump while competing for the City of Stoke Athletics Club. Jazmin placed second in the high jump at the 2007 English Schools Championships with a personal best of 1.70 m (5 ft 6 1/4 in), just behind Katarina Johnson-Thompson. She won the long jump and pentathlon titles for the English Schools the following year, a feat she repeated in 2009. She was awarded a scholarship to attend Millfield Public School in 2010.
To prepare for the first Youth Winter Olympics, Sawyers was contacted by the British Bobsleigh and Skeleton Association in 2011. Jazmin and Mica McNeil created a two-man bob team while she pretended to be the brake woman. She competed for Great Britain in the bobsleigh at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics in January, and Sawyers and McNeil became the first team from the nation to win a medal at the event (and the only medalists for Britain that year), taking the silver medals in front of the Dutch team. She was consequently selected to participate in the 2012 Olympic torch relay as one of the carriers.
2011 saw Sawyer make his debut appearance abroad. She finished ninth in the heptathlon at the 2011 World Youth Championships. In the long jump, she broke the six-meter barrier for the first time that year, and she later surpassed it to win the gold medal at the 2011 Commonwealth Youth Games. She won the 4100-meter relay race for England at that competition as well. When Sawyers won the long jump competition at the 2020 outdoor British Championships with a jump of 6.69 meters, she became a triple British champion. She has won the competition before, back in 2016.
Sawyers led the British team for the European Indoor Championships in Istanbul in March 2023. Her initial leap earned her a spot in the final, and she later jumped 7.00 meters to win gold and set a new national indoor record and outright best.
