Throughout Sean Waltman’s a.k.a X-Pac lengthy career in both WCW and WWE, the one constant has been the high quality of the matches he has competed in. The 1-2-3 Kid astounded fans by how well he competed against some of WWE’s greatest.

With his attitude as Syxx in WCW, he enraged cruiserweights and legends alike before kicking their head off in the ring. He then returned to WWE as X-Pac, helping to elevate lower-card championships such as the European Championship to more respectable status. Waltman had several spectacular bouts along the road, which helped him become a two-time Hall of Famer.

X-Pac will always be remembered for his work in WWE, so here are some of his greatest rivalries and matches he had in his WWE run.

Here’s a look back at some of X-Pac’s most memorable WWE rivalries

Razor Ramon

It was this match that cemented Waltman’s reputation. He would take on Razor Ramon as The Kid and try the impossible. From the start, the Bad Guy would dominate by flinging Kid all-around ring like a bag. Ramon, on the other hand, would make a mistake and be shocked after colliding with the turnbuckle. The Kid would land a moonsault from the top rope and pin Ramon for a three-count before fleeing the ring, stunned by what they had just witnessed.

Chris Jericho

This was some rivalry for X-Pac as he returned after a gruesome injury to get back to the person who injured him. This time it was none other than Jericho. After a 3-month hiatus Pac returned and started bout with then IC Champion Y2J.

In a fatal-four, X-PAC took on Jericho, Benoit, and Eddie Guerrero. It was an incredible match as every man fought hard, but at last, Jericho retained his IC championship and reigned supreme.

Bret Hart

X- Pac was given the opportunity to defend his title against Bret Hart. The Hitman, on the other hand, would take command of the bout from the start and show the 1-2-3 Kid why he was the champion.

Kid, on the other hand, kept up with Hart and caught him on many occasions, almost winning the match. However, unlike the Razor Ramon bout, this one did not conclude with Hart sidestepping Kid as he tried a manoeuvre from the top rope. The Sharpshooter was then locked in by the Hitman, forcing Kid to tap out.
