WWE predictions are made all the time. However, it is uncommon for them to be true. But some of them did come true, and you’ll wish they had it for others. Predicting the future of professional wrestling is a fruitless endeavor due to the numerous variables that may change everything instantly. On the other hand, years that conclude with two appear to have moments that influence the next decade. It is not always clear how significant these incidents will be for the evolution of the sport, but these seemingly little deeds appear to generate exceptional moments.

So, let’s look back at 3 instances where WWE stars successfully predicted the future

1. Roman Reigns becoming the Head of the Table

Roman made a prediction that would take more than 6 years to come true. Only a few weeks after the Shield disbanded, Roman Reigns got a spot in a WWE Championship ladder match. Reigns gave a statement promoting his match on the June 24th, 2014 episode of WWE Main Event and said, “And when I win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, I take my rightful place at the Head of The Table, Believe That!.”

Roman would not become The Head of The Table until six years later when he joined forces with Paul Heyman to become the Universal Champion. While it wasn’t difficult to imagine Reigns becoming the Head of the Table at some time.

2. Vince McMahon predicted Drew McIntyre becoming WWE Champion

Soon after Drew McIntyre’s 2009 WWE comeback, Drew McIntyre received a proper introduction from Vince McMahon. After shaking hands and praising the Scottish superstar, McMahon made a daring prediction. He said, “This man ladies and gentlemen is going to be a future World Heavyweight Champion.”

Drew did win the Intercontinental Championship, but it appeared not long after that he would never fight for a World championship. McIntyre became a parody after losing to Santino Marella in a blindfold match on SmackDown and subsequently forming 3 MB with Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal.

Drew McIntyre’s firing in June 2014 dealt a deadly blow to Vince McMahon’s forecast. However, McIntyre’s story did not finish there. The Scottish warrior returned to WWE in April 2017, looking nothing like he did in 2009. Even yet, Drew winning the title seemed implausible.

McIntyre, however, pulled off a surprise triumph at the 2020 Royal Rumble by finally eliminating Roman Reigns to win the contest. Drew made the decision to challenge for the WWE Championship. However, the individual who held the title was Brock Lesnar. Even the Beast couldn’t stop Drew from defeating Brock and capturing the WWE Championship. It took a decade to come to fruition but great for Drew.

3. Samoa Joe predicted Jeff Hardy would never be able to let go off his DEMONS

WWE marked the 20th anniversary of Jeff Hardy’s career in November 2018. Hardy’s adversary at the moment, Samoa Joe, cut short the celebration. Joe brought up the enigma’s real-life drug and alcohol troubles, which was nothing new, but the Samoa Joe stated this., “It is people like you never change and the demons they never go away and the next time you feel powerless Jeff and we both know there will be a next time.”

Sadly, this did come true about a year later Jeff Hardy was arrested for public intoxication and later arrested again for impaired driving. It didn’t stop there. In June 2022 a few months after leaving WWE, Jeff Hardy was pulled over by police after swerving and running off the road. Hardy failed all the sobriety tests the officers gave them and the former WWE star was arrested on multiple charges.
