WWE rumors: John Cena to return next month at a WWE PPV

WWE is rumoured to be planning to bring back Cenation Leader John Cena next month.

The whole WWE universe witnessed John Cena not only making his WWE return but also wrestling in a bout at this year’s Showcase of Immortals. The former 16-time world champion faced current US Champion Austin Theory at WrestleMania 39. However, Cena lost the match, leaving his fans to wonder when they will see him next in the ring.

John Cena is a super busy man. As he as well has become Mr. Hollywood. Which makes it difficult for him to come to WWE. With his packed schedule, the WWE Universe is already getting fewer and fewer chances to see the Cenation leader. But still, in a year he would find a window to wrestle for the fans. Given that, he has completed his quota for the year. Fans wonder if and when The Cenation Leader will return to the ring.

WWE is said to be organizing a King and Queen of The Ring tournament for next month. There aren’t many specifics yet, but it will be pay-per-view this year and will take place in Saudi Arabia on May 27, 2023. But, according to a new Xero News report, John Cena may return to WWE for the PPV. Indeed, the former 16-time champion is expected to wrestle in the event.

According to Xero News, there are preliminary negotiations about bringing back John Cena for the 2023 King and Queen of the Ring. The card, however, is subject to modification till he accepts. Furthermore, there is no indication of who he would encounter there.

John Cena is going to produce a new WWE reality eight-episode series

John Cena is scheduled to perform more work for WWE, but this time the 16-time World Champion will not be doing so inside the ring. Cena will appear in and executive produces a new WWE docuseries for Roku, a free streaming platform.

WWE: Recruits is a new series that will follow aspiring teenage wrestlers as they strive to become WWE Superstars. WWE will collaborate with Arthur Smith, the same producer that worked on American Ninja Warrior. According to reports, Cena will feature in the series with Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Big E, Bianca Belair, and Ric Flair. The program has already begun production, as the footage was shot this past weekend in Los Angeles when the business was staging WrestleMania 39.

The series will be presented in eight episodes and will depict the intense training that comes with being a WWE recruit, as well as the ups and downs and journeys of a lot of brilliant young men and women vying for a spot in WWE. The event featured just a handful of recruits chosen from among thousands of pro wrestling aspirants. Roku described this series as an invitation to the life of an extraordinary group of young people seeking their ultimate ambition.
