Hello and welcome to this week’s RAW Preview! Before SummerSlam 2023, this is the third-to-last episode of Monday Night RAW. WWE Monday Night Raw is slated to be broadcast live from Atlanta, Georgia’s State Farm Arena on July 17, 2023. Five matches and segments have already been confirmed, so things are heating up. The third week of Raw leading up to SummerSlam 2023, the biggest event of the summer, is anticipated to feature a number of intriguing segments, match bookings, and feuds that will culminate in a bout at the event. Let’s get right to what you need to look forward to on the red brand tonight since it’s going to be a stacked episode with a major main event.

Match Card

  • Brock Lesnar back on RAW
  • Gunther vs Matt Riddle
  • The Women’s Tag Team Title
  • Ricochet vs. Logan Paul at SummerSlam ?
  • Viking Rules match
  • Seth Rollins vs Dominik Mysterio

Predictions

Brock Lesnar back on RAW

Cody Rhodes challenged Brock Lesnar to a rematch at SummerSlam 2023 last week on RAW. As you are aware, the two have a 1-1 record with Cody winning at Backlash and Brock Lesnar winning at Night of Champions by putting The American Nightmare to sleep. The American Nightmare humiliated Lesnar when he came back to get a sneak attack on Cody, and then he stood tall before calling him out for their trilogy bout at SummerSlam. This week, Lesnar makes a comeback to take on the task. What would he do to try to defeat Cody once more, knowing that the match will be declared official?

Gunther vs Matt Riddle

In his fight against Gunther and the Imperium, Matt Riddle has relied heavily on Drew McIntyre as an ally. Last week, Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci were defeated by McIntyre and Riddle, with Vinci taking a Claymore Kick to the stomach. Due to Vinci and Kaiser’s ringside bans, this week’s fight between Matt Riddle and Intercontinental Champion Gunther from Money in the Bank 2023 will be intriguing to see.

The Women’s Tag Team Title

A few weeks ago, Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green rose to the top of the Women’s Tag Team Championships field. Last week, while Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan, the current tag team champions, watched from ringside, they used dishonest tactics to defeat Katana Chance and Kayden Carter to gain momentum. Tonight is the championship match. Will Sonya Deville finally experience WWE Championship victory with the support of the rising Chelsea Green?

Ricochet vs. Logan Paul at SummerSlam ?

Logan Paul attributed Ricochet’s failure to take home the Money in the Bank briefcase to him, which immediately sparked a conflict between the two. When Logan Paul made an appearance on RAW last week, Ricochet performed a stunning flip before being told by Logan Paul that, although it would make for a nice TikTok moment, he wasn’t a TikToker. There is little doubt that the unavoidable SummerSlam match will feature amazing moments, at least a few of which will go viral. Will tonight’s match officially be announced? Await results!

Viking Rules match

The Viking Raiders interrupted and ruined the graduation ceremony for Maxxine Dupree, who graduated from the Alpha Academy last week. The Viking Raiders’ Ivar and Eric would compete against Chad Gable and Otis this week in a tag team bout, this time with Valhalla and Maxxine Dupree at their corners. After Dupree and Valhalla caused a distraction outside the ring, the contest might go in the Alpha Academy’s favour. The conflict might last until SummerSlam 2023.

Seth Rollins vs Dominik Mysterio

Seth Rollins and “Dirty” Ex-Con Dom Mysterio’s scheduled match last week on RAW ended in a DQ, setting up a main event with Rollins, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn facing The Judgement Day. The Judgement Day triumphed, but Balor regained his composure and might have been positioning himself for a SummerSlam rematch with Rollins. What will transpire when “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio and Rollins square off once more? Watch RAW to learn more!
