The Women’s Tag Team Championship fight between the reigning champions Dakota Kai & IYO SKY and Becky Lynch & Lita was one of several intriguing sequences on the WWE Monday Night Raw broadcast from February 27. Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso entered the ring for their bout against the Street Profits as the red brand show got underway. Due to Solo Sikoa’s Samoan Spike on Angelo Dawkins, The Bloodline was able to defeat Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins.

WWE RAW match card

  • Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa vs Street Profits
  • Cody Rhodes vs Chad Gable
  • Asuka vs Carmella

  • Bobby Lashley vs Elias
  • Otis vs Johnny Gargano
  • Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky vs Lita and Becky Lynch (Women’s Tag Titles)

Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa vs Street Profits

Following a lengthy review video of what transpired the previous week, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa entered the ring for a tag team bout against The Street Profits. Jey Uso couldn’t be found. Jimmy offered a promo in which he said that The Bloodline was fine. He dismissed the drama as “regular family stuff,” while stating that Roman Reigns would continue to run the show.

Before knocking Jimmy and Sikoa out of the ring, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins came out and spoke trash. As we returned after our break, the game had finally begun. Dawkins grabbed over, but Jimmy only needed a second to turn things around.

While the contest was close and provided both teams opportunities to shine, The Bloodline was clearly dictating the tempo more frequently than not. After the mid-match commercial break, the Profits were able to get in a bit more attack, but Sikoa still scored the game-winning Samoan Spike to Dawkins.

After the match ended, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa started a beatdown on the Street Profits but Kevin Owens came to save the day.

Winner: Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa

Brock Lesnar returns to The VIP Lounge

The ring was decked up with VIP lounge furniture with MVP, but Brock Lesnar’s music blasted and he made his way to the ring before MVP could. They exchanged some words regarding a possible match between Lesnar and Omos at WrestleMania, and The Beast eventually agreed to it. In fact, he appeared ecstatic about it.

To make it official, they toasted and shook hands. Lesnar even-handed MVP some of his own booze, but MVP accidentally spits it in his face because it tasted bad. He attempted to apologize and assist him in cleaning up, but The Beast grabbed him for an F-5 to close the segment.

Cody Rhodes vs Chad Gable

The second bout of the night pitted Alpha Academy’s Chad Gable against Cody Rhodes. Otis was once again in Gable’s corner. They began with a series of rapid takedowns and counters to demonstrate their amateur wrestling abilities, but one powerful right hand from Gable immediately changed the atmosphere.

Gable grew obsessed with inflicting harm to the knee once Rhodes began to market it. To swing the tide back in his favor, the American Nightmare evaded a flying headbutt.

Winner: Cody Rhodes

Asuka vs Carmella

First up was a match between one of the other women in the Elimination Chamber, Carmella, and Asuka. Carmella put up a terrific battle, not backing down from Asuka, and at times even took the initiative.

This wasn’t just a swift defeat for The Empress—there was a commercial break throughout the match. While Asuka is supposed to be a beast in the eyes of WWE, she still works for her rivals since she is a professional.

Although the bout itself wasn’t very noteworthy, it accomplished its intended goal of giving Asuka a victory as she waits for her championship opportunity at WrestleMania. Carmella was a wise option because she is skilled at winning people over.

After claiming victory, Asuka named Bianca Belair. The EST arrived, but to stop the segment, Carmella shoved Asuka into her.

Winner: Asuka

Candice LeRae vs Piper Niven

Candice LeRae was brought by Nikki Cross to the ring for her bout against Piper Niven, although it initially appeared as though LeRae was unaware of her presence.

Niven was able to dominate LeRae immediately because of her enormous size and power advantage. Before pushing The Poison Pixie into a corner, she nearly made her faint from surrender. At one point, Cross was seized by Niven and sent into the barricade, but as soon as she returned to the ring, LeRae rolled her up to win.

Winner: Candice LeRae

Seth Rollins crashes the Miz TV

The Miz showed up to host a new edition of Miz TV, so we got our second chat show part of the evening. Seth Rollins joined him in the ring after he finished outlining the WrestleMania match card as of this point.

The Visionary ultimately super kicked The Miz and took his phone so he could call Logan Paul. After making fun of Jake Paul for losing his boxing battle on Sunday, he challenged him to a face-off at next week on RAW.

Bobby Lashley vs Elias

Following a brief break, Bobby Lashley returned for a rematch with Elias, the guy he crushed the previous week. We saw some video of Bray Wyatt making fun of Lashley prior to the bout.

As soon as the bell rung, Elias charged The All Mighty, but after his initial assault, Lashley picked him up for a bodyslam to seize control.

Elias started to make a return at ringside while Rick Boogs was seen taking notes backstage. That was a fleeting return, though. In order to win the submission, The All Mighty was able to grab him in the Hurt Lock.

Winner: Bobby Lashley

Otis vs Johnny Gargano

After speaking with Maxxine Dupri and Maximum Male Models, Otis called for a match, and Johnny Gargano took the call. Dupri sat ringside to observe as Otis quickly established dominance by overwhelming his significantly smaller opponent. Before Johnny Wrestling could put together any offensive, it took him a few minutes.

Dexter Lumis materialized from the throng and seized Mace in a chokehold as they attempted to intervene along with Mansoor. When Gargano got up, he hit a massive DDT on the apron. In a brief contest that ultimately ended in a victory for Gargano.

Winner: Johnny Gargano

Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky vs Lita and Becky Lynch

The Women’s Tag Team Championship bout served as the night’s main event. Against Lynch and Lita, Kai and Sky put their championships on the line. For their teams, The Man and The Genius of the Sky got things going. Lynch took charge, but their conversation was short-lived. Kai and Lita both locked up after being tagged in so that Lita could execute quick techniques.

As the broadcast moved to commercial, the challengers had the match well under control. As we came back, The Man was battling The Kick Team Leader for victory. Sky released Lynch from the armbar by throwing her outside the ring, allowing Lynch to do a moonsault from the middle rope to the floor.

This tag team bout was a strong way to wrap up the program. Lita still had some enjoyable moments even though Lynch handled most of the labor-intensive work for her crew. She had some ring rust visible on her, but given how little time she had spent wearing it, it wasn’t a huge problem.

To level the playing field, Trish Stratus pursued Bayley and assaulted her. In the end, Lita moonsaulted Sky to win the pin and the tag championships. To end the night, Stratus assisted them in their celebration.

Winner: Lita and Becky Lynch
