It’s worth noting that this marked an improvement from Becky Lynch’s initial return to “NXT” a few weeks earlier and marked the highest total viewership for the show since October 28, 2020.
The coveted 18-49 demographic often a barometer of a show’s appeal to a younger audience also witnessed a substantial boost of 23%. The segment garnered 289,000 viewers from this highly-coveted demographic. One of the standout moments of the night was the overrun featuring the gripping conclusion of Trick Williams’ title defense against Dominik Mysterio. A staggering 928,000 viewers tuned in to witness Mysterio recapture the “WWE NXT” North American Championship at the urging of Rhea Ripley.
While every segment contributed to the show’s success, there were variations in viewership across the episode. The tag match between Gallus and British Strong Style struggled to make an impact in the 18-49 demographic while the lowest overall audience numbers were recorded during the beginning of the Williams vs. Mysterio encounter.
The anticipation for next week’s episode continues to build with “WWE NXT” stacking the deck with main roster luminaries.
