What exactly happened to Triple H

Triple H, who is 52 years old revealed that he had pneumonia, which filled up his lungs with fluid. Speaking on Stephen A’s World on ESPN, he said that his heart ejection fraction had dropped to 22 per cent when a normal heart operates at 55-60 per cent. “By the time I got to the emergency room, my ejection fraction had gone down to 22,” Triple H told Stephen A. Smith.

“Which, I was in heart failure. Bad. By the next morning, as they figured that out that evening, by the next morning as they got the MRI done and they were sending me in for a heart scan. My ejection fraction was down to 12. So, I was nosediving and sort of at the one-yard line of where you want to be, or where you don’t want to be, really, for your family and your future.”

When asked about his future, he straightforward said, “I won’t, I would never wrestle again. First, I have a defibrillator in my chest. Which, it’s probably not a good idea for me to get zapped on live TV.”

This means that Triple H’s last match on television was against Randy Orton at the 2019 WWE Super ShowDown event in Saudi Arabia.
