Former WWE and ECW Superstar, Rhino has revealed that he would be interested in taking on Kevin Owens in a match before he retires.

Rhino has been a mainstay in the wrestling industry for well over two decades. Rhino has worked in WCW, ECW, WWE, TNA, ROH and currently plies his trade in Impact Wrestling.

Given that his storied career is coming to an end, the former WWE Tag Team Champion said in a recent podcast appearance that he would love to take on former WWE Universal Champion, Kevin Owens before taking up a behind the scenes role. He said, “I’d really like to, I don’t know why Kevin Owens’ name just popped in my head. Probably because I’m here in Philly and I’m talking to you from Philly and, you know, probably the [2300] Arena. That’d be really cool. I’d get a, you know, I’m at the point where I’m starting to do less in the ring and more behind the scenes and phase out.”

Kevin Owens is preparing for a showdown with Stone Cold Steve Austin at Wrestlemania 38. Austin, who is also known as the Texas Rattlesnake is said to be getting into ‘in-ring’ shape for his meeting with Kevin Owens for a special edition of the KO Show.

Owens had to put his Wrestlemania appearance on the line on Raw last week because Seth Rollins also wanted to host Stone Cold at the showpiece event. Thankfully for Owens, he defeated Rollins with a stunner to confirm his name on the Wrestlemania card.
