Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development had been Levesque’s formal position inside the organisation since 2020. Prior to this, he held the position of Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events & Creative.

Triple H had been out for around 10 months

After experiencing a cardiac attack, Levesque resigned from his position in September 2021. His symptoms, which included coughing up blood, inflamed lungs, and fluid around his heart, were subsequently proven to be those of a severe case of viral pneumonia. Levesque made an appearance at WrestleMania 38 and declared his in-ring retirement following an interview with Stephen A. Smith. In a follow-up, Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reported that Levesque is reportedly taking up John Laurinaitis’ responsibilities inside the organization. After being mentioned in a Wall Street Journal article regarding his suspected involvement in the Vince McMahon hush money controversy, Laurinaitis is presently on administrative leave.

The former WWE Champion then declared his retirement from wrestling due to the ailment that prevented him from engaging in ring combat. On the second night of WrestleMania 38, he was last seen on WWE TV. The Game was given a dignified send-off in front of the enormous audience, and he then entered the ring wearing his wrestling boots to indicate that his career was officially over. Triple H is regarded as one of the most prosperous Superstars of all time and has had an amazing career in the WWE. In addition to twice winning the Royal Rumble, he has won the World Heavyweight and WWE Championships a total of 14 times.
