None other than Batista will headline WWE’s 2023 Hall of Fame class. The 54-year-old’s enrollment was originally scheduled for 2020, so it’s been a long time coming. However, due to his commitment to Hollywood and the absence of live audiences, the former WWE Champion decided to record later. With fans all over the world returning to the show, Batista will finally be inducted into his WWE Hall of Fame this year, according to a report from his Patreon account at WrestlingNews.co. Last year, we celebrated the 20th anniversary of Animal’s debut. During his active wrestling career, Animal won multiple world titles, two Royal Rumble matches, and often the main event at WrestleMania. However, Batista seemed to deny the possibility of returning to the ring when he recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He was asked if he would portray fan-favorite character Drax again after the release of the third installment in his Guardians of the Galaxy franchise. The animal replied: “A perfect exit. We all had these perfect character arcs and storybook endings like that. I always associate it with how I ended my wrestling career. I ended with a picture book notebook. And I’ll never go back and screw it up…and here it is.”
