None other than Batista will headline WWE’s 2023 Hall of Fame class. The 54-year-old’s enrollment was originally scheduled for 2020, so it’s been a long time coming. However, due to his commitment to Hollywood and the absence of live audiences, the former WWE Champion decided to record later. With fans all over the world returning to the show, Batista will finally be inducted into his WWE Hall of Fame this year, according to a report from his Patreon account at WrestlingNews.co. Last year, we celebrated the 20th anniversary of Animal’s debut. During his active wrestling career, Animal won multiple world titles, two Royal Rumble matches, and often the main event at WrestleMania. Despite being reportedly inducted into the Hall of Fame, many hope the Hollywood actor will one day step between the ropes and act again.

However, Batista seemed to deny the possibility of returning to the ring when he recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He was asked if he would portray fan-favorite character Drax again after the release of the third installment in his Guardians of the Galaxy franchise. The animal replied: “A perfect exit. We all had these perfect character arcs and storybook endings like that. I always associate it with how I ended my wrestling career. I ended with a picture book notebook. And I’ll never go back and screw it up…and here it is.”

The former World Heavyweight Champion’s last match for World Wrestling Entertainment was at his WrestleMania 35 in 2019. During the show, he lost a No Holds match to his mentor, Triple H. At the post-show press conference at Elimination Chamber, Edge appeared pleased with his win and explained how lucky he was to compete with his wife in the ring. The Hall of Famer said he was not considering plans to retire, but said he would like to host his retirement reunion in Canada. this is it I’ve been retired for 9 years I’m back and I’m working with my wife I never thought we’d do that at all so we stay there if it looks like it, “We’re having fun because we’re having fun,” Edge said. “I’m just excited. I’m not even thinking about what I’m going to have for breakfast tomorrow, let alone what I’ll be doing in five, six, seven, or eight months. But I know it’s in Canada.”

Another interesting point about him is Bray’s Wyatt warning against Brock his Lesnar and Bobby his Lashley. On Friday night, Elimination took place in front of his chamber with his SmackDown, and Bray his Wyatt appeared in the ring with Uncle Howdy. World Eater announced they were eyeing the winner of the match between Lesnar and Lashley. Despite not winning the match cleanly, Lashley still claimed victory for DQ. Will there be a match between Bray Wyatt and Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 39?
