“The Tribal Chief,” has reassured fans about his ongoing battle with leukemia following night one of WrestleMania. During a press conference, Roman Reigns addressed concerns raised by announcer Pat McAfee during Saturday’s broadcast, confirming that he is still in remission but remains on oral chemotherapy medication.

“I’m still on oral chemotherapy,” Reigns disclosed. “It’s a medication that I’m going to have to remain on my entire life, most likely. So yeah, that’s just a part of my personal battle.”

Despite the ongoing treatment, Reigns expressed gratitude for being able to continue performing, indicating that his disease is currently “at bay.”

Reigns’ journey with leukemia began in 2007 when he was first diagnosed during his time with the Minnesota Vikings. Initially going into remission two years later, the disease resurfaced in 2018 during his WWE Universal Championship reign. Reigns made the difficult decision to relinquish the title in an emotional Raw promo before taking a hiatus for treatment. His return to action came over four months later.
