There are a lot of distinctions given in the WWE but one of the very best that can be bestowed on any wrestler is the title of Grand Slam Champion. A WWE Grand Slam Champion is that wrestler that has gone on to win four specific titles in the company, namely the World title, the Intercontinental title, the United States title and the tag team titles. It’s a very rare feat and one that takes ages to accomplish.

There have been quite a few WWE Grand Slam Champions and, in this article, we will take a look at the top five.

1. Shawn Michaels

Shawn Michaels is one of the most famous names in wrestling and during his time was arguably the best wrestler on the planet. He had a charisma that nobody could match. He was a world class performer inside the ring and was a menace outside of it. HBK won his first WWE title on March 31, 1996 and won his first World title on November 17, 2002. Shawn also held tag team gold with Diesel, also known as Kevin Nash and Triple H. Shawn was also the Intercontinental champion and the European champion.

2. Triple H

Following in the footsteps of his best friend is none other than Triple H. The King of Kings as he is fondly known was one of the most dominant wrestlers in the world during his heyday. The Game won the WWE title 9 times and the World title 5 times, which makes him a 14-time Heavyweight champion. He first won the WWE title on August 23, 1999, and the World title on September 2, 2002. He was a tag team champion with Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels.

3. Kane

The Big Red Machine was such a dominant power in the WWE that when people saw him in his pomp, they were genuinely scared. The way he made his debut when he ripped the doors of the cage with his bare hands still gives goosebumps. During his time in the WWE, Kane went on to win all the major titles. He won the WWE title for the first time on June 28, 1998 and the World title on July 18, 2010. He was tag team champion with Mankind and Big Show and he also won the Intercontinental title on May 20, 2001.

He was tag team champions with his brother Matt Hardy and won the Intercontinental champion on April 10, 2001
