Jeffrey Nero Hardy (born August 31, 1977, Cameron, North Carolina, United States), is an American professional wrestler and musician better known by his in-ring name Jeff Hardy. He and his brother Matt formed a tag team known as The Hardy Boyz and they are widely considered one of the greatest tag teams of all time.
Jeff was born to Gilbert and Ruby Moore Hardy and raised in Cameron, North Carolina and started his career performing in the Trampoline Wrestling Federation alongside his brother Matt. Eventually, that would transition into the Organization of Modern Extreme Grappling Arts also known as OMEGA as they became older. He looked up to The Ultimate Warrior, Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan as his inspirations.
Hardy has had great success in his singles career, capturing his first of six world championships, the WWE Championship in 2008 and going on to hold WWE’s World Heavyweight Championship twice and the TNA World Heavyweight Championship three times. In WWE, he has also won the Intercontinental Championship five times, the Hardcore Championship three times and the European, Light Heavyweight, and United States Championships once each.
Having won all these championships, Jeff Hardy is the 18th Triple Crown Champion and 9th Grand Slam Champion in WWE history. He has headlined numerous pay-per-view events for WWE and TNA, including TNA’s flagship event, Bound for Glory, on two occasions.
Jeff is involved in various things outside of wrestling like motocross, music, painting and other artistic endeavours and it is not hard to see why. He is currently a member of the band PeroxWhy?Gen, with whom he tours and has released three studio albums and four extended plays. In 2003, Jeff, along with his brother Matt, co-wrote an autobiographical book of memoirs titled The Hardy Boyz. Their book was a New York Times Best Seller.

Jeff started off his career in WWF as a jobber who lost regularly to his opponents. His match against Razor Ramon took place in Youngstown, Ohio. Randy Savage was on commentary on the night of the event.
After training with Christian, Kurt Angle, A-train, and Test, Jeff and his brother finally formed a tag team known as The Hardy Boyz. They had memorable feuds with various legendary tag teams and established themselves as a household name in the tag team division.
Jeff also had a great singles career. He won the WWE Championship once and the World Championship twice. He also won the Intercontinental Championship five times, the Hardcore Championship three times and the European, Light Heavyweight, and United States Championships once each. Jeff went on to have great matches against the likes of Randy Orton, Edge, CM Punk and Triple H. Hardy quit the company in 2009.
Jeff and Matt returned to the WWE in 2017 at WrestleMania 33 and were added as last-minute participants in the ladder match for the Raw Tag Team Championship. They went on to win the tag team titles after defeating Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, Cesaro and Sheamus, and Enzo Amore and Big Cass.

Jeff met his girlfriend Beth Britt in 1999, shortly after the Hardy Boyz had won the WWF Tag Team Championship for the first time. He met Beth at a club in Southern Pines, North Carolina.
