Kurt Angle a wrestling legend with an illustrious career in the WWE has shared the ring with some of the industry’s most iconic and talented performers. In a recent interview on Dr. Beau Hightower’s YouTube channel, Angle revealed his favorite opponents and the memorable moments he had with them.

Among his favorite adversaries, Angle highlighted two of the biggest names in WWE history: “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and The Rock. Angle expressed his admiration for their in-ring skills and mic prowess acknowledging them as his most significant accomplishments in the wrestling world. He also mentioned the surreal experience of facing Hulk Hogan a childhood hero and making him tap out on live television.

Angle’s list of favorite opponents didn’t stop there. He went on to mention a few more wrestling greats who left a lasting impression on his career. Brock Lesnar with whom Angle had incredible chemistry was praised for their memorable matches. Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Shawn Michaels, and Rey Mysterio also earned high praise from Angle for their exceptional wrestling abilities and contributions to the industry.

Kurt Angle’s wrestling journey is a remarkable one. After winning an Olympic Gold Medal as an amateur wrestler, he transitioned into the world of professional wrestling and made his WWE main roster debut in November 1999. During his time in WWE, Angle was involved in unforgettable storylines and iconic matches with the wrestlers he mentioned. These encounters include his legendary WrestleMania bouts against the likes of Benoit, Lesnar, Guerrero, Michaels, and Mysterio.

Angle’s career had its ups and downs but he left an indelible mark on the wrestling world. After leaving WWE in 2006, he spent time in TNA and the independent wrestling scene. Angle eventually returned to WWE for his Hall of Fame induction and one final run in 2017.
