WrestleMania is not just known for the matches on display but also for promos and different bits of comedy segments. The fans no matter which show they are watching or attending love some sort of a comedy angle as it keeps them engaged without the show getting boring and monotonous. In this article, we look back at some of the funny incidents that happened at WrestleManias over the years.

Hulk Hogan says the wrong name

Hulk Hogan is known for nailing it on the mic when he was in prime but when WWE set up an awesome moment with The Rock, Steve Austin and Hogan in the opening segment of WrestleMania 30, the Hulkster made a hilarious gaffe that had everyone laughing.

Hogan referred to the Superdome in New Orleans as the Silverdome. He made the mistake because he defeated Andre the Giant a WrestleMania 3 in the Silverdome. The Rock and Stone Cold made sure to remind Hogan of his gaffe at every opportunity and it was a fun moment to kick off the show.

Braun Strowman chooses kid as his mystery partner

Braun Strowman is an intimidating man and capable of taking on a lot of men single-handedly. So it came as a surprise when the Monster among men chose a little kid from the stands named Nicholas as his mystery tag team partner for a match against Sheamus and Cesaro for the tag team titles at WrestleMania 34.

Strowman then went on to take down both Cesaro and Sheamus all by himself which meant that he and Nicholas were now tag team champions. WWE’s decision to let Strowman and Nicholas win the tag team gold at the Grandest stage of them all proved to be a huge hit as the fans loved it and found it funny at the same time.

Donald Trump shaves Vince McMahon’s head

Vince McMahon and Donald Trump were involved in a bitter feud dubbed as the ‘Battle of the Billionaires.’ At WrestleMania 23, both the billionaires put their hair on the line as Bobby Lashley went head to head with Umaga.

Lashley went on to defeat Umaga and that meant Vince had to get his head shaved. Trump and Lashley then went on to lather up Mr McMahon’s hair and started to shave it off. The look on Vince’s face was worth watching and the fans loved every bit of the action. They reacted with nothing but laughter as the Boss was humiliated at the Show of Shows.
