Brian Girard James, better known as Road Dogg, is a semi-retired American professional wrestler. James is most remembered for his time in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE). From 2002 until 2009, he wrestled as B.G. James for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), and he has also appeared for Smoky Mountain Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling, the United States Wrestling Association, the Catch Wrestling Association, and World Wrestling All-Stars (WWA).
In a career spanning more than three decades, Dogg has won countless titles. He rose to prominence in the WWF/E as half of The New Age Outlaws (who subsequently became members of D-Generation X): he and partner Billy Gunn won the WWF World Tag Team Championship and also have held the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship. James also had success in singles competition, becoming a two-time Intercontinental Champion and a one-time Hardcore Champion.
Following his departure from the WWF in 2001, James became the inaugural WWA World Heavyweight Champion before returning to TNA as a tag team wrestler, where he was a two-time National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) World Tag Team Champion with Konnan and Ron Killings as the 3 Live Kru under the Freebird Rule. He wrestled on pay-per-view twice for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. James is a second generation wrestler; his father, Bob, and brothers Scott, Brad, and Steve also wrestled. As a member of D-Generation X, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame (Class of 2019).

Wonda Faye Raines Conant, a casino supervisor in Tunica, Mississippi, died in February 2020. The pair owns the James Gang Farm, which James decorates. Her dogs’ names are Dutchess and Tyson, Diamond, Bella Jet, and Otis. Dutchess passed away on May of 2019. They also have a pig named Petunia on their property. Road Dogg and James have been married for 25 years.
Road Dogg is a father to 3 boys who are all grown and are adults. Also, he is a grandfather to 4 children as well. Road Dogg is a family man and he has done everything to make sure that his personal life is always personal and it never interferes with his professional life. He has been happily married for more than 2 decades now and he intends to go strong till he is there for them.
