WWE RAW results: 20 years celebration for Randy Orton, Lynch-Asuka returns, April 25, 2022

On tonight's RAW Asuka and Becky Lynch returned, and RK-Bro, Rhodes, and Ezekiel went on against Rollins, Owens, and The Usos for the main event.

This week’s WWE RAW was special as we saw Becky Lynch’s return after many weeks since losing her title to Belair. This time she is back and strong and waiting to claim what she lost. There was not just one return but Asuka returned after many months of absence.

Also, it’s been 20 years for Randy Orton and it was a celebration night for the “Legend Killer”. Also, Lashley and Omos had an interesting arm-wrestling match. Finn Balor went on against Damien Preist. Also, to mention there were multiple returns this week on RAW as Mustafa Ali came back on RAW after last Crown Jewel.

  • Raw Women’s Championship : Bianca Belair vs. Sonya Deville
  • Veer vs. Sam Smothers
  • Arm wrestling : Omos vs. Bobby Lashley
  • Reggie and Dana Brooke vs. Tamina and Akira Tozawa
  • Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest
  • The Miz vs. Mustafa Ali
  • Cody Rhodes, Ezekiel and RK-Bro vs. Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens and The Usos

The show began with Riddle in the ring, flanked by the majority of the roster at ringside. Before The Viper entered the ring, he showed a video package commemorating Orton’s 20-year WWE career. Orton discussed how great his career has been and how grateful he is for everything.

Riddle called over Cody Rhodes, who greeted Orton with a massive hug when he arrived at the ring. This prompted Seth Rollins to get up and spew trash.

Ezekiel and Kevin Owens eventually joined the party to resume their rivalry, and The Usos quickly followed. Adam Pearce to the ring and announced an eight-man tag fight for the evening.

Raw Women’s Championship : Bianca Belair vs. Sonya Deville

Bianca Belair was a star in the match, as when all the odds were stacked against her, still she managed to pull the victory and retain her championship against Deville, who restarted the match two times and both the times she failed to win the title.

Winner: Bianca Beliar

Veer vs. Sam Smothers

Sam Smothers, a jobber, was Veer’s latest victim this week. With his Million-Dollar Arm clothesline, he defeated Smothers in around 30 seconds and then continued to smash him at ringside after the match was done.

Winner: Veer

Arm wrestling : Omos vs. Bobby Lashley

Following that, Omos and Lashley competed in an arm-wrestling bout to discover which behemoth has greater raw strength.  Lashley triumphed after a protracted tussle in which both men came dangerously close to defeating the other. Later, Omos violently assaulted Lashley.

Winner: Bobby Lashley

Reggie and Dana Brooke vs. Tamina and Akira Tozawa

In a mixed tag team battle, Akira Tozawa and Tamina faced Reggie and Dana Brooke. Tozawa and Tamina eventually won, and we saw a couple individuals attempt to pin Dana for the 24/7 championship. She was able to flee without getting pinned.

Winner: Tamina and Akira Tozawa

Later, Becky Lynch returned and said how she felt incomplete without her title and this could be a chance for her to get her legendary comeback one more time. As, she was saying no-one could stop her now, there was a surprise return as Asuka’s music hit and she is once again back on WWE standing straight to Big Time Becks. Becky tried to attack but it was all futile against Asuka and she made Lynch run from the ring.

Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest

Finn Balor had to suffer a huge loss on WWE RAW due to a distraction by Edge against Damian Priest as Priest beat Finn Balor in their singles bout.

Also, this bout is far from over as Balor would be frustrated and would come back with some retaliation.

Winner: Damian Priest

The Miz vs. Mustafa Ali

The Miz’s special guest this week on WWE RAW is the new United States champion. As The Miz was giving some advice to the new champ, Mustafa Ali returned and went straight for the champ but Theory texted Mr. McMahon and booked a match for Ali against Miz.

They began with simple wristlocks and counters, but The Miz immediately escalated the battle into a more violent brawl with a forearm to the head. While Ali made several nice shots, The Miz dominated the first few minutes with his aggressive offensive. Ali was victorious thanks to an inventive pinning sequence to counter a Figure-Four.

Winner: Mustafa Ali

Cody Rhodes, Ezekiel and RK-Bro vs. Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens and The Usos

When all eight guys entered the ring, a massive brawl erupted before the referee could even sound the bell. The American Nightmare bore the brunt of the opposition team’s onslaught. They kept him enclosed and tagged in and out to keep everyone fresh while isolating Rhodes. After a hot tag, Zeke enjoyed a brief burst of attack, but Rollins regained control with an inverted superplex on Riddle. When The Viper eventually tagged in, he went for everyone on the other squad. The Legend Killer scored the pin for his squad after a series of RKOs from various angles.

Winner: Cody Rhodes, Ezekiel and RK-Bro
