Boxing legend Tyson Fury who recently retired after defeating Dillian Whyte has revealed that he is interested in having exhibition fights and wants to have a match with none other than The Great One, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Tyson was on Good Morning Britain when he said that he is willing to have some exhibition matches and they are purely for entertainment purposes and nothing else. He also referred to them as Hollywood-style entertainment.

Fury was asked by host Susanna Reid about what he wanted to do when he said, “I am going to do some exhibition matches. They are not real fights. Only entertainment factor. It is not professional boxing. This is pure entertainment. Hollywood-style entertainment. Nothing more nothing less. The difference is in the exhibition, you are not there to win or lose. You are there to enjoy. Have a good time and put on a show for the fans.

“In an exhibition, you can fight old-timers, famous people, whoever you want. I am looking at fighting Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Frank Bruno, whoever. The Rock Dwayne Johnson, that would be fantastic. You never know who you could be fighting on one of these shows but that’s what I am open to in the upcoming future.”

Tyson Fury and WWE

Tyson Fury obviously has a lot of interest in the WWE as he has been a fan from his childhood days. He even wrestled inside a WWE ring once when he took on Braun Strowman and defeated him at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia back in 2019. Of late, Fury and Drew McIntyre have been involved in a Twitter spat with each man calling out the other. A match between him and McIntyre was reportedly considered prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fury is also close friends with a  lot of WWE superstars. Before his match against Dillian Whyte, he was sent a good luck message by Triple H and his wife Stephanie McMahon. It is clear to see that Fury is held in high regard by WWE and it should come as no surprise if the Gypsy King does make his return to the wrestling ring.
