The Miz credits John Cena for teaching him to be a superstar

John Cena and The Miz were bitter enemies at one point and they faced each other on numerous occasions. They took on each other in the main event of WrestleMania 27.

Actor and WWE superstar The Miz has been a mainstay in the company for nearly two decades and is rightly seen as a locker room leader. Over the course of his storied career, Miz has gone on to win numerous titles and even main evented WrestleMania. He is known to be a very hard worker and is responsible for making the Intercontinental Championship relevant again. He did not have an easy way to the top and had to jump over many obstacles to get to where he is today.

The A-Lister was a guest on the In The Kliq podcast when he was asked who he was most thankful for teaching him to be a main event star. He said, “John Cena is a wealth of knowledge and he’s more than willing to hand it out if you’re willing to listen. Cena has taught me a lot in WWE and entertainment. It was a teaching moment for me. It showed me what it takes to be a main event calibre superstar and I’m very thankful for those moments because it allowed me to have the confidence I have today in those abilities.”

John Cena and The Miz were bitter enemies at one point and they faced each other on numerous occasions. The most memorable moment between the two men was when they were in the main event of WrestleMania 27 where the Miz walked away with the win. The other times when they both went head to head were during The Bash in 2009 and Over the Limit in 2011.

John Cena return date announced

Fans worldwide were given some good news when the company announced on Monday Night RAW that John Cena would make his much-anticipated return on June 27. WWE declared one week ago that June would be “John Cena month”, as they would celebrate 20 years since The Champ arrived on the scene and eventually became one of the biggest stars in the history of the company. The show where Cena is scheduled to return will be just days before the Money in the Bank pay-per-view in Las Vegas.
