The WWE universe has gone crazy as many surprising things happen during Friday Night SmackDown. Friday Night Show featured Michin vs. Bayley, Shotzi vs. IYO SKY, Santos Escobar vs. Mustafa Ali, and BUTCH vs. Baron Corbin, and the main event “Jey’s Decision”?
The show started with a recap of last week’s celebration of Roman Reigns 1000 as a champion. Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa were already in the ring during the recap and Paul Heyman got the mic to say something. Before Paul Heyman could begin, Jey came out. Jey Uso confronted Solo Sikoa for stabbing his brother in his back. He said he will never forgive him for what he did.
Poison Frankensteiner, No way, SO CLOSE Ali sneaks out, corner knees connect, fireman’s carry, O’Connor rolls for two, springboard tornado DDT. Mustafa fights with his elbows but manages to get through the turnbuckles when Escobar performs a fireman’s carry. Santos Escobar won by pinfall and qualify for the money in the bank match.
Yim jumps on Bayley at the announcer’s table, returns inside, and covers her, but only for two counts! Mia is in charge after a punch into the corner and a crisscross into a Tijeras! Nope, no tornado DDT! Yim kicks her in the face, but Bayley takes advantage by pulling her hair. Bayley won the match and qualify for the money in the bank match.
Before Charlotte Flair made her return, Asuka got her new WWE Women’s Championship Belt. Pearce asks her what is she doing here, then he realized and said you need to get in the line. Charlotte said she doesn’t wait in line, she made the line. Charlotte challenged Asuka for the championship match. Asuka said something in Japanese before speaking in English. Asuka spits mist but Charlotte ducks and sent her packing.
Dunne was explosive right away, scoring twice with a kick and a tornado DDT. Off the ropes, Corbin is sent to the apron with an enzuigiri that is followed by a wristlock. Pete wishbones his fingers despite having elbow fractures! Dunne captures Baron when he attacks with a lariat.
Uso in charge and out of it, Theory is knocked to the ground by a lariat, and Jey lifts him over the announce table to signal the conclusion of the match. Uso appears to be cut off by Pretty Deadly with forearms, but Jimmy Uso saves the day! Pretty Deadly is dispatched with superkicks, and when he turns to face Jey, Solo Sikoa takes him out! Jimmy is drawn up by Sikoa for the Samoan Spike, but Jey interrupts him. Jimmy accidentally superkicks Jey while Solo sidesteps! Jim puts Sikoa on the ground, Tran wakes up and Theory gets inside. Austin Theory successfully retain his WWE United States Championship Belt against Jey Uso. Jimmy tried to help Jey get up but Jey pushed him away. Jimmy tried to explain the situation but Jey walks away, staring down Paul Heyman.
