Road Dogg hasn’t had many single stints other than his hardcore championship and Intercontinental Championsip wins and there were no major rivalries as such. But in his stable with his stable mate he had given some of the greatest moments of his career which cannot be forgotten. He and Billy Gunn together has had some of the major rivalries in their career. Both the men stood side by side and fought all the odds which came against the. These guys are dominators who dominated every tag-team which came against them. So, here we will look on some of Road Dogg’s best matches and rivalries he had in WWE as The New Age Outlaws.

The Hardy Boyz

It’s not often that fans get to watch a cage match on SmackDown, so when the Outlaws defended their titles against The Hardyz, they were in for a treat. It was an attempt to block the rest of DX from participating in the match, but the faction managed to prevent Jeff and Matt from winning. The Hardyz provided the most highlights, jumping off the top of the cage onto their opponents at every opportunity. Despite their antics, the Outlaws were able to escape first and keep their championships.

Cactus Jack & Chainsaw Charlie

The New Age Outlaws dressed up as baseball catchers for their showdown against Mick Foley and Terry Funk, two hardcore icons. Cactus and Chainsaw gathered a succession of chairs from beneath the ring and tossed each and every one of them into the squared circle, which did nothing to defend them. Despite the fact that the bout was thrown out due to a disqualification, Funk and Foley continued to beat down the Outlaws, with Foley even using the Mandible Claw to take down the referee.

Legion Of Doom

The Legion Of Doom is one of the toughest teams in the world, which is why they were the tag team champions at the time. LOD did not want to wait until the In Your House PPV to get their hands on Gunn and James. The belts were on the line, and LOD appeared to have the contest wrapped up. Road Dogg was able to assault Animal with a chair while they were gearing up for the Doomsday Device, allowing Gunn to roll him up for the three-count. The new champions snatched their belts, dashed backstage to a vehicle, and drove away from the arena. They were dubbed the New Age Outlaws when JR referred to them as outlaws.
