The WWE is known for having human specimens as wrestlers. Tall and strong are the basic prerequisites for a wrestler to make it big in the company and rightly so. But just because a wrestler is not over 6 feet tall does not mean that they can’t make a name for themselves. There are a lot of examples of wrestlers who were short and were counted out by many but managed to get over and be successful. In this article, we will take a look at some of the shortest wrestlers in the history of WWE.

Hornswoggle (4 feet 5 inches)

Hornswoggle was an anomaly. He was the shortest wrestler ever standing at 4 feet 5 inches and he was involved in a lot of interesting angles during his time in the WWE. He was involved with Finlay as his leprechaun and also won the Cruiserweight title during that time period. Hornswoggle was then involved in an angle where he was Vince McMahon’s illegitimate son. Hornswoggle’s association with D-Generation X was a cause for great laughter and made for great television.

Drake Maverick (5 feet 4 inches)

Before joining WWE, Drake Maverick was synonymous with TNA where he made his name under the name Rockstar Spud. He moved to the WWE in 2017 and was named the manager of 205 Live. During that time, he was involved in a lot of funny angles involving R-Truth and the 24/7 championship. He has been retired since then and now works in a backstage role as a writer on Raw.

Spike Dudley (5 feet 5 inches)

When we think of the Dudley Boyz, Bubba Ray and D Von come to mind but there was another member of the team and his name was Spike Dudley. Being relatively short and not so muscular, Spike was often targeted and was the punching bag. But Spike won his fair share of titles as he won the Cruiserweight title and the European title once. Spike also was a one time tag team champion with Tazz. However, the best thing about Spike is that he is an eight time Hardcore champion.

Kalisto (5 feet 6 inches)

Kalisto was a luchador and joined the WWE in 2013. He started off in NXT and was then moved to the main roster where was part of a team known as the Lucha Dragons. Kalisto won the United States title after defeating Alberto Del Rio in 2015. He then went on to win the Cruiserweight title in 2017. During his time in the company, he was known for his high flying moves and his agility in the ring.
