Here’s a look back at some of R-Truth’s most memorable WWE rivalries

The Rock and John Cena

In Survivor Series 2011 The AwesomeTruth went on against the best in business. With Rock’s return and John Cena on his shoulders carrying WWE, The Miz and R-Truth got one of the best matches of their career. It was literally a career-defining moment for both the men. As The Rock and John Cena were WWE’s biggest superstars. It was a huge push for The Miz and R-Truth. Even though they were unable to win against the legends but The Miz and Truth showed great courage and as they were heels they got their candy a**** kicked and gave a memorable moment to remember.

John Cena

2011 was the year for R-Truth as he got an opportunity for the WWE Championship. As Truth turned heel he started attacking Cena and later got a shot at the championship. Their bout continued for weeks and later at Capitol Punishment Cena defended his title against R-Truth. This is one of the best rivalries R-Truth had in his WWE career span.

The Miz

It was R-first Truth’s singles championship in his second tenure with the WWE, and it meant much more given that he defeated the Miz, a long-time US Champion. R-Truth has only held one singles championship in his WWE career, but given his latest push, it seems doubtful that he would depart without earning another gold.
