John Cena is scheduled to perform more work for WWE, but this time the 16-time World Champion will not be doing so inside the ring. Cena will appear in and executive produces a new WWE docuseries for Roku, a free streaming platform.

WWE: Recruits is a new series that will follow aspiring teenage wrestlers as they strive to become WWE Superstars. WWE will collaborate with Arthur Smith, the same producer that worked on American Ninja Warrior. According to reports, Cena will feature in the series with Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Big E, Bianca Belair, and Ric Flair. The program has already begun production, as the footage was shot this past weekend in Los Angeles when the business was staging WrestleMania 39.

The series will be presented in eight episodes and will depict the intense training that comes with being a WWE recruit, as well as the ups and downs and journeys of a lot of brilliant young men and women vying for a spot in WWE. The event featured just a handful of recruits chosen from among thousands of pro wrestling aspirants. Roku described this series as an invitation to the life of an extraordinary group of young people seeking their ultimate ambition.
