Jimmy Snuka being a legend has given way to good moments in his career span with WWF and now WWE than any wrestlers of his time. As he was one of the high-flying stars. He has been one of the most agile and athletic wrestlers of his time. Even the legends in the wrestling business remember Jimmy Snuka as one of the best in-ring performers of their time. So, here we are looking back at some of his greatest rivalries and matches he had in WWF to remember his great legacy.

Rick Rude

Jimmy Snuka was another well-known WWE personality who helped Rick Rude gain popularity. Vince McMahon adored Snuka’s babyface fire and frequently sheltered him to keep him in the top mid-card despite his deterioration. Prior to WrestleMania 6, WWE featured Rude in a programme with Snuka. The four-minute contest didn’t allow them much time to execute a masterpiece, but Rude emerged victorious. Snuka was plainly there to cover for Rude as he was being eased out of the WWE in favour of fresher talent.

The Undertaker

Everyone knows about the Wrestlemania streak The Undertaker is so proud of. But does anyone know Jimmy Snuka was the first man who was pinned to start The Undertaker’s glorious Wrestlemania streak? Their match was very intense and both the man fought hard, but Deadman stood victorious and was always one step above Snuka and defeated him on the grandest stage of all. Also, their storyline was great and Jimmy Snuka was proudly the first wrestler to be pinned in WrestleMania by The Deadman.

Roddy Piper

While hosting the greatest wrestling discussion show of all time, Piper’s Pit, Roddy had some of his best moments. Aside from the Andre-Hogan brawl that kicked off the build to WrestleMania III, Piper’s levelling of Jimmy Snuka with a coconut was possibly one of the most memorable scenes in WWE history. The momentum turned him become Snuka’s deadly nemesis, and he became an indelible part of WWE history. So much so that everyone else in the ring stopped what they were doing to watch these two legends engage in their final battle at the 2008 Royal Rumble.
