The second half of the WWE roster and a few NXT stars were up for grabs on Raw as the 2023 WWE Draft continues.
WWE uses a method called WWE Draft to equally balance the rosters between Raw and SmackDown brands. Between 2002 and 2011, the first brand expansion took place, and the second, ongoing brand split started in 2016. The second half of the WWE roster and a few NXT stars were up for grabs on Raw as the 2023 WWE Draft continued. Given that Roman Reigns, Bianca Belair, and Gunther have already been selected, the future of the remaining main roster’s current champions—Rhea Ripley, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and Austin Theory—was a big topic of discussion during the show. Faction splits are also possible because The Usos (from Bloodline) and Ripley (from The Judgement Day) are positioned as different from the rest of their respective groupings.
Triple H announced that all selections would begin to take effect on March 8’s Raw. In San Juan, Puerto Rico, WWE was scheduled to host Backlash for its return to pay-per-view events. After accounting for the additional draught picks from SmackDown, SmackDown Lowdown, and Raw, the red and blue brand rosters are as follows.
