Let’s take a look at Edge and his rivalries

John Cena

Until WrestleMania 25, Edge and John Cena reigned Raw for a whole year. Their rivalry for the WWE Championship was one of the most memorable in both performers’ careers. Edge and Cena began feuding almost as soon as he joined Raw.

Cena was the traditional face, while Edge was the heel. In the end, Cena won, but these two put up some fantastic battles. Edge’s finest feud of his career could have been this one.

Kurt Angle

One of the all-time great feuds was between Edge and Kurt Angle. In WWE history, there weren’t many memorable hair vs. hair battles, but this was one of them. The loser of the match would be forced to shave his or her head.

Edge was also responsible for the “You suck!” chants that erupted whenever Kurt’s theme song was performed. Their matches didn’t disappoint, since they are two of the top WWE superstars of all time. Kurt Angle had his head shaved, putting an end to their long feud.

Christian

Edge and Christian were closest friends and, at one point, the finest tag team in the WWE. They won multiple tag team championships, but after Edge won the King of the Ring tournament in 2001, Christian became enraged and turned on him.

These two had a ladder match at No Mercy 2001, which was one of their most memorable matches. Their matches didn’t disappoint because they were two of the finest wrestlers at the time. Edge and Christian didn’t reunite and get back together until 2010.
