WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has been a part of the company for a long time and knows how things operate. He has also been a part of some integral conversations in his heyday and still has sources inside the company who keep him updated. However, King Booker, recently revealed that an unnamed WCW enhancement guy was fired immediately for asking for a pay hike. The WCW star said at one of the important meetings that since the big stars are paid large amounts and there are some, including him, who work equally hard, there should be a rise in pay.

“I remember in a meeting one time in Disney one of the guys who had been working around in WCW for a long time, an enhancement guy, he wasn’t a guy that was getting over or anything like that. But there was a lot of money going around, Hall and Nash came in, Hogan, Savage came in. They were being paid big money,” Booker said in the Hall of Fame podcast.

“He said at a meeting at one of the Disney tapings, early in the morning, he said, ‘Is it possible – we know these big guys get paid a lot of money – is it possible for us enhancement guys to just get paid a little bit more because we are out there working really hard.’ And they fired his a*s. Immediately. I’m not jiving. Immediately. I’m not going to say his name or anything like that, he knows, he’s still living. He knows who I’m talking about.”

Booker T favours IMPACT wrestling star

Booker T has spoken highly of W. Morrissey, who performed under the ring name Big Cass, for the company. The IMPACT Wrestling star had joined the company in 2011 and featured for NXT. He had teamed up with Enzo Amore and the duo made it to the main roster for the company.

However, Cass had decided to part ways with the company in 2018, following some issues behind the scenes. Booker T, now, feels that the big buy will be a perfect fit in the WWE roster at the moment and thus wants him to make a comeback for the company.

He had also cited depression, anxiety and an alcohol addiction as the main factors for his exit from WWE following which he joined the independent circuit.

The Big Cazz had joined Big Time Wrestling in 2018 and later wrestled to a loss for the Big Time Wrestling a Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore 51. He also made an appearance at the House of Hardcore 52 but had to be rushed to hospital during the interval due to seizure.
