Larry D in IMPACT

On the November 25 Wrestle House 2 edition of Impact, Larry D debuted his “Lawrence D” alter persona. That night, he lost to Johnny Swinger, then on the December 10 Impact event, he battled Rohit Raju to a No Contest due to an assault by Josh Alexander. Larry then participated as Badlands Bart versus “Hard” Harry Hall in the Throwback Throwdown II special event in December. Larry’s final bout was a Four Corners Bull Rope match, in which Bart lost to Harry. Larry has continued to work for independent companies like AAW and IWA-MS.

Larry debuted on Impact on October 19, 2019, but was defeated in the main event of the All Glory special by Acey Romero. After that, both men signed with Impact Wrestling and formed the XXXL tag team. They signed three-year contracts at the time, according to reports. On August 30, Romero sought his release, which was granted on October 12 by Impact.

It’s also unclear whether WWE or AEW are interested in Larry.
