It was a near-perfect team for Rosamaria and her teammates. However, they could not defeat team United States in the penultimate challenge. Nevertheless, she has been a key orchestrator for her team to march on to the World No. 1 in the world rankings. Besides her Olympic campaign, she was also part of the volleyball team that won silver at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada. At the club level, Rosamaria has been part of many leading clubs from Serie A1. Currently, she plays for AGIL Volley.
Montibeller was part of the Brazilian side that emerged as champions of the 2012 Women’s Junior South American Volleyball Championship after defeating hosts Peru in the final. She captained Brazil’s U23 team, which won the 2015 FIVB Volleyball Women’s U23 World Championship. Added to that, she also competed at the 2017 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix where Brazil defeated Italy in the final to be crowned as winners. Rosamaria was also named in the Brazilian squad for the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League where Brazil finished in fourth place.
Although Montibeller has always been a regular starter for the national side. Still, she took an indefinite two-year break from international volleyball from 2019 to 2021. However, she returned to the national scene with a bang. Upon returning to the national side, she won the silver medal in the 2021 FIVB Volleyball Nations League. Although the sporting finesse of the Brazilian is known to the entire world, her interesting rumours about her personal life are one which has created a buzz amongst the netizens. However, Brazilian is very successful in hiding her personal life from people’s eyes. All her relationships have only been rumours only till now.
