San Juan, Argentina, is hosting the prominent youth volleyball from August 2 to August 11, 2023, i.e., the FIVB Volleyball Boys’ U19 World Championship. This year marks the event’s 18th iteration of the volleyball event. The championship is backed by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB).This year, sixteen formidable teams have managed to qualify for the league’s intense knockout rounds, including Italy, Japan, Egypt, Colombia, Belgium, Slovenia, the United States, Puerto Rico, France, Mexico, South Korea, Argentina, Bulgaria, Brazil, Iran, and Serbia.
On August 9, 2023 (IST), the United States will take on Puerto Rico in a pre-quarter-final match at the FIVB Volleyball Boys’ U19 World Championship 2023. The USA made it to the Round of 16 phase after topping their group (Pool A) with three wins in the event. Meanwhile, Puerto Rico ended up fourth in the Pool C with one victory and reached this phase. In the knockout clash, the USA will definitely have an advantage over Puerto Rico, considering their current form.
