The USA have lost just twice till now in the competition and are expected to be one of the favourites to lift the trophy in the end.
The United States of America will be looking to continue their good run of form when they face Brazil in the quarter-finals of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League on Wednesday. The Americans have been one of the standout teams of the tournament, as their opponents have found it extremely difficult to play against them. They have lost just twice till now in the competition and are expected to be one of the favourites to lift the trophy in the end. Meanwhile, Brazil also ended the round one matches in the best possible way. It should give them the necessary confidence to go up against a dominant USA side.
The USA finished third in the table with 27 points from 12 games after managing ten victories and two defeats. Their two surprise losses came against Iran and Poland. They should be the clear favourites on Wednesday, however, Brazil will also be heading into this match on the back of a positive run of form. The Brazilians won three of the four matches they played this month. Their only defeat came against France. Brazil finished sixth in the table, with 24 points from 12 games, having won eight and lost four.
