The fifth edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League takes place this year. On top of that, it began on May 30th, 2023, and is anticipated to end on July 16th, 2023. Because it is taking place in so many fascinating cities, including Bangkok, Nagoya, Hong Kong, Brasilia, Antalya, and Texas, this competition has a more global feel to it. The final eight elimination games for the VNL 2023 women’s championship are slated to take place in Texas in the United States from July 12 to July 16, 2023. The USA has already qualified for the knockout stage as the host country for the final round, regardless of how well they perform in the preliminary rounds.
The governing body of the sport, the FIVB, has organized an incredible international competition that includes the top squads from around the globe. On July 2, 2023, Thailand and Brazil will face off in the FIVB Women’s Nations League. Thailand is ranked fourteenth globally, behind Brazil, which is ranked second. Brazil came in second and Thailand came in eighth place in the 2022 FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League, respectively.
The VNL 2023 competition is divided into three separate daily phases. To ensure a level playing field for the 16 teams, the teams from the two groups switch places each week. After three weeks of ferocious competition, eight of the best teams will compete in the finals. During the group stage, each train takes part in twelve action-packed games. A thrilling knockout round features eight teams competing as well. These knockout rounds will be played in a specific order depending on how each team performed in the round of 16. Although the locations of these grand tours will vary, they will initially be held in Bangkok, Nagoya, Hong Kong, Brasilia, Suwon, Antalya, and Nagoya. The thrilling elimination rounds, which go until July 2nd, will be followed by the thrilling knockout phase.
