Brazil will be hoping to close down the gap at the top of the table when they face a struggling South Korea in the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League. The round one clash will see two sides placed on different ends of the table going head-to-head with each other on Thursday night. Brazil are just four points shy of leaders, the United States of America. Meanwhile, South Korea are the only side to not win a single match so far in the 16-team competition.
Sitting third in the table, the Brazilian women have 20 points from nine games. They have won seven times and lost only twice – against the USA and Italy. On the other hand, South Korea are the only side to not get a single point so far in the tournament. They would love to end the round one clashes by taking a few points on board. However, to do that they need to be at their best to get something out of the match against Brazil.
