The fifth installment of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League kicked off on June 6, 2023, and is set to reach its final match on July 23, 2023. The concluding battles will be fought at the Ergo Arena, situated in Gdańsk, Poland. The tournament features a total of 16 nations, divided into 10 core teams and 6 challengers, all aiming for the coveted 2023 VNL trophy. Since Poland is the host country, they are guaranteed a place in the elimination round. This arrangement leaves the remaining 15 teams to compete for the other seven available slots to advance into the final eight stage.
On 23 June 2023, Slovenia is all set to lock horns with Cuba at the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League 2023 (IST). Slovenia have done extremely well so far in the tournament having won five out of their six games in the tournament. On the other hand, Cuba has just won one out of their five games in the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League 2023. Considering the current situation of both teams in the league, the World no.9 Slovenia side looks poised to make a place in the final phase of the competition.
