The fifth edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League began on 14th June. International volleyball players compete in the Nations League each year. 2023’s tournament will run from May 30 to July 16th. At College Park Centre in Arlington, Texas, in the United States, the pivotal round will take place. The Women’s Volleyball Nations League (VNL) will feature the top 16 nations from four volleyball confederations. The FIVB, the body in charge of regulating the sport, holds it as one of the premier international indoor competitions.
Poland will play Turkey on June 15, 2023, in the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League. Both the strong team will compete in this matchup. Turkey is ranked sixth, while Poland is ranked eighth. Turkey finished in fourth place overall after the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League 2022, while Poland came in thirteen. This time, both teams are aiming to win the standings.
The VNL 2023 women’s competition’s preliminary round consists of three weekly stages. Every week, the teams in the two pools are switched around to include all 16 teams. The championship round will be played between the top eight teams after three weeks. During the pool round, each team plays 12 games against its opponents. In the competition’s final knockout round, eight teams will take part. The order of the knockout stages will be determined by the teams’ rankings following the preliminary round. The preliminary rounds will take place in Antalya, Nagoya, Hong Kong, Brasilia, Suwon, and Bangkok, among other cities. Up until July 2nd, there will be more preliminary rounds before the knockout rounds start.
