The FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League 2023, marking its fifth iteration, kicked off on May 30 and is slated to wrap up on July 16, 2023. The finals will take the spotlight in Arlington, Texas, while the initial pool matches (1 to 6) have been taking place in various global cities, namely Bangkok, Nagoya, Hong Kong, Brasilia, and Antalya. The structure of this year’s tournament resembles the last edition, with 16 teams battling it out over 104 matches.

During the first stage, which takes place over a period of three weeks, every team participates in at least 12 matches, facing off against a mix of opponents with different standings. The top eight teams, based on the points accumulated by the conclusion of this section, advance to the critical final stage. The finals consist of three segments – the quarterfinals, the semifinals, and the championship match. The host country of the event has assured a spot in the final round.
